This is not due to the atkdisp persay. This is actually due to atkdisp and SmartDoctor not being fully compatible. This has been fized by others, including me, by simply removing SmartDoctor.

SD controls the fan speed and some stuff with temp files. Smart Doctor is not needed all that much. That is, the fan speed control may be wanted, but there are other progs for this.

Solution: remove smartdoctor from your system. Microsoft working to suck again,
