Could anyone tell me from their own experience, is there really any noticeable speed difference between a SATA HD 32MB cache, and a SATA3 HD 64mb cache. I've read that there is, and that there isn't. I'm putting my new computer together today, phenom 965 cpu, and I have a 1tb seagate SATA, and a 2 tb seagate SATA 3. So was wondering which one to put the operating system on, and which one for data.

it doesn't make a huge difference, but it would be better if you used the 64MB cache drive as the OS drive, assuming same spindle speed.

If one of the drives is 7200RPM and the other is 5400-5900RPM, go with the 7200RPM drive for OS.
