Hey guys,
Has anyone tried this mouse on a MAC? I manly use it in Windows for gaming but I have a few games in OS X (like Starcraft and Diablo III) and would love to know if this mouse will work there.
Thanks

Nothing works on Mac, not even OS X. Just ask Mickey C!

It's unlikely for them to have proper Mac software support, so while the mouse will still work as other USB mice, you can expect the side buttons to not behave as they normally would under Windows, and possibly no hardware DPI adjustment on-demand either.

For example, my Razer Orochi mouse, even in wired mode and the Razer OSX software installed, doesn't let me do browser forward/back on its two left side-buttons. Instead, the forward button becomes a scroller, while the back button becomes Alt-Tab. But they work under Windows. Go figure.

All the kool kids (or Kool Aid drinkers, according to Mickey C) use this: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/19058/steermouse

Works with my G700, doesn't allow some of the cooler features, but at least I can map buttons properly.

Won't matter at this point. All of my games are on Windows, so I load up bootcamp for those. If I still need forward/back, there's the Anywhere MX...

Oh derek_w, you never give up, do you?

And would that be wrong? The fact that people have to ask if things work on a Mac is enough to prove just that... Unless of course it's "Mac approved" and carries a huge price premium...

Yep, you need to pay $20 to use hardware that should work right out of the box, but doesn't because Apple just loves milking their users for every dime they can... There's a reason why Apple has $120+ billion stockpiled...

I have no idea why you're bringing me into any of this, sounds to me like you're just angry that I'm right... Truth hurts, doesn't it? But seriously, you're trying way too hard... If you put as much effort into reading as you do to attempt to start flame wars with me, you'd actually be able to spell my name properly after all these years on the forums.
