Lest anyone be mislead by the ignorant reviewer below who said that this is a "nice upgrade" from the PA246, this screen is in no way an upgrade. This is a cheap 6bit IPS display that is in a completely different and substantially lower class than the PA246. There is a reason that it is $200 cheaper - this can only produce 16.7million colours as opposed to the 1.07 billion of the PA246. Anyone who says this is an "upgrade" is stupid.

That's wrong, this monitor is a good IPS 8 bits colors monitor not a 6 bit as you mentionned. (2^8)^3=16.7 millions colors. IMO that's not too bad for that price.
