...that you need to use 90 degree angle SATA cables when using this case. Straight sata's will not fit this case unless you like warping your metal panels, in which case they will

I believe he's talking about the hard drive cages. 180 degrees sata cables will extend to far out and warp the side panel?, so you're going to have to use 90 degrees.

will it warp the side panel? i think it'd warp the sata cable more than the panel...

It warps both. The 180deg straight cables flex the panel out about 0.25-0.5 cm and doesnt let them close flush against the front panel. Enough to make it look like the panels will bend that way after a prolonged use like that. Also, I wouldn't want to use the cables for very long like that either unless you like your drives as just beinglittle metal space heaters, in which 'case' ( spudnik, didn't even realize that D: ) go right ahead.

So heads up, 90 degrees only.

The way the case looked, I figured the cables would've come out of the front side instead of into the rear cable management area, which is also why, Mr Linus of NCIX Techtips, the hole in front of the PSU is actually off to the side without a rubber grommet and in front of the optional area you can mount the drive cage.

I have not seen this and I am working on a system build with a 650D as I type this. This is the 3rd build I've done in this case and I've used a variety of cables. You may have some cables with abnormally long connectors or something. This is the first I have heard of this anywhere.

I once had some early Startech 180 degree SATA cables... They connecters were probably over an inch long. I can see this being an issue.

I prefer angled SATA cables anyway but that's too bad you found out the hard way. I have the 600T (amazing case) and used a standard SATA cable on my SSD which fit no problem. Mind you on the 600T you could fit a truck behind the side panel.

Only somewhat messy part of my build is the four 120mm fans I mounted on the mesh side panel. I tied them as best as possible and it is worth it to have a cooling wall of doom!

I was just using the cheapo ngear sata cables, so it really could just have been the ones I chose to use. But all the cable heads i've seen for sata dont really seem any shorter than these.

On a side note, why are 90deg connectors so low on stock at NCIX when they have 200000000000000 straight ones?

Btw Yellowbeard, for this case, I noticed that the 200mm intake fan on the bottom front doesnt vent to the top as well as it could, especially with the H80 and a GTX 570 non-hd that I clunked in there, so what I did was use the extra 120mm fan from the case and double sided tape-d it upright in the 5.25 tray rack (which fit with an optical drive overhead). Putting it right at the edge of the leftover space in the rack (to prevent too much vacuuming) dropped my CPU idle temps by about 4deg Celcius and 100% load by about 6-9deg. I have the H80 on exhaust as well to try and keep with the flow of the case (which brought temps down quite a bit as well).

I never realized how much of an importance airflow was on temps till now. Pretty cool stuff. Get it?...

I'll have mine tomorrow, but I may not have the board/cpu for a day or two later.

I have to say, I'm replacing a Antec p182. i was hoping this case would do , but after reading some stuff here and on another site I am worried I ordered the wrong case. Most of the first reviews I read couldn't praise it enough, but after I ordered it, I kept reading more sites and....well, now I'm concerned. I want quiet and room enough for long video cards in sli. If this case is flimsy and loud I may sell it before I even install anything into it.

The interior is an indentical replica of the 600t and it fits straight sata cable. I'm using them myself. I have the sata cables going out rear of the case so I can hide them easily, never tried it going out from the front. Try that, they will fit, I'm 100% sure !

angled ones certainly fit better. But I have some straight ones that aren't too long and also fit. Power cables are tight as well. There is really not quite enough space in back and too much in front. Tall CPU coolers will certainly have no issues in this case but I'd almost trade some space there for some space in back where its needed more.

I'll post a more complete review of my opinion in a bit. But in a nut shell, my advice is skip this case. At this price go get a lian li.
