Hi guys, can anyone recommend a small form factor video card for PCIe x1 or x16?
I basically need one that has an HDMI output so I can connect to a digital projector. This is for classroom use, so gaming is not a concern.
The workstation is a HP 6000 Pro Business PC, 240w power supply.

here are some choices for half height cards.
1x cards are pretty pricey for what they can do.

All low profile capable video cards that support HDMI, doesn't kick out much heat and has ultra low power consumption that even worked with my 230Watt power supply. Backed by a reputable company at a pretty good price. This message was modified by the poster at 12 28, 2012 04:59 PM
Warren, be careful. There is a difference between half-height and low profile cards. A half height card may still not fit, since many come with full height adapter brackets. For example, of the three that AEO suggested, two use full height brackets. Some may come with low profile brackets that can be swapped, but it should state this in the product description if so. Only one of the three is an actual low profile card consisting of both a half height PCB and a low profile bracket. Both of those suggested by Coca Cola Guy are also low profile cards.
Thanks guys, glad that I asked as I realize now what to look for.
I'll make sure to get one with an included low profile bracket.
