And it says that it comes with:

It usually takes 2-3 days for the codes to arrive.

Yes. You don't know what the system is doing on the back end to ensure the codes go out properly.

Paper codes have their own problems.

On my order receipt, there was a note that digital download codes need to be added to the cart at the time of the order and can't be added once it's been processed. In addition to buying an item with a free game offer, do I need to add a separate item to my cart to receive the code? Hopefully not...

The codes will arrive eventually, the ones I got with a video card took over a week to get emailed to me.

They are added automatically when you checkout, unless you removed them at some point and if so , probably SOL.

They go into the queue to send the codes once a physical item on your invoice has scanned out for shipping or in-store pick up.
