Old Cases for Sleeper Computer Builds

Knowing this is going to my first post, there is one thing I would like to discuss. Ever since I took an old Gateway 831GM, gutted out everything down to the bare case, and rebuilt it brand-new from the case up, it's been working nicely for four years straight as an AMD A4-5300 sleeper beater home office computer running Windows 10.

Now that I explained which old computer I used for the new build, I'd like to hear what kind of old computer case you use for your build or are you building on. Knowing that Gateway case was easy to rebuild without any fuss to begin with, I'm thinking eMachines or any old computer case. Any thoughts?

for years I never used computer cases. I just put the mobo on the mobo box and plugged everything in.

sat as a crazy hair wired setup beside my monitor.
