Linksys E4200 V1 Guest Access Help Me Please

Hi NCIX’ers,

I have a Linksys E4200 V1 and for years I never had any problems with guest access. But as of about one year, the Wi-Fi icon on my Win10 toolbar has shown an exclamation point on the Wi-Fi guest access icon, and no matter what I try, no one can logon using the guest access, including me.

My regular secured Wi-Fi access is not affected in any way, it works great.
There is no exclamation point on my regular secured Wi-Fi icon.
Changing the guest access password does not remove the exclamation point on the Wi-Fi guest access icon.
Using the Win10 troubleshooter does not fix the problem.
I have not changed any of the hardware or software.
Rebooting the router does not help, nor does rebooting the modem, nor rebooting anything else.

I bought a new router (Asus RRT-AC68U) and I was planning to replace the Linksys E4200 V1 with it this summer, but I suppose I could do it now if it’s going to be a PITA to address the problem.

Much thanks!
