possibly because they have not sold equipment that needs it in ages. or they sold out of all the cables they bought from the shack that they rebranded as Ngear.

That's really old technology. A computer or electronics store place with a large parts bin and repair dept (not a box store) might have some old ones they would give you. I had one of those that came with a Toshiba laptop ten years ago.

I know for a fact that The Source sells these. They are in the camera section branded as AV output cables.

They are like $20 there though, best to get them from the jungle store if you don't need them immediately.

FYI, it's called "3.5mm to 3 rca"

NCIX has something similar, but not exactly and definitely not worth it's price.

AEO the cable you suggested will not work, not what he wants.

Your best bet Cannondale is to go to a electronic store around you if there are any. What are you going to be using this cable for? Maybe there's a better solution.

These days, pretty much all A/V devices (such as camcorders) sold have HDMI output, and most people have HDTVs with HDMI inputs.

So the demand for composite video and s-video type cables is very low. Few people use them anymore except those with older equipment, and those people usually already have the needed cables.
