I want to return a pc case I bought on the 18th, and picked up on Wednesday.

The USB3 front panel STOPed working after the very day!

The case is unpacked, so can i return it to NCIX?
If yes, how?

what case? and how did you verify the usb3 port stopped working? did you check the connection to the board? try unplugging the header and plugging it back in?

You'll be charged restocking fees because the front USB's don't just stop working, you either borked them or there is something going on the motherboard side and a replacement case won't fix the issue.

Man, when talking about ram testing or whatsoever, a 1 pass doesn't not say it is a pass.

I take the blame that I did the 2nd test and proved it is defective.

if you want to exchange it you don't pay a fee IIRC, its defective so i don't think theres a fee anyway.

One thing that I did not mention earlier. This case also missing 3 screws for the motherboard. So I will never say it had a proper QC, and I will never act like a paid poster blaming everything the buyer's fault!

NCIX will need to test the case first before they will exchange it. If they plug in the USB3 header to the mobo in there store and it works. Then the problem lies in your system.

The USB header is not much on there, you sure have it set in the bios the front panel turned on and the drives are installed.

Take it into the store. Get the tech support to test it to see if it works. If it does, then you did something wrong. If it doesn't work, they will exchange it for you or you might even be able to return it. There is a "customer care" link at the top right of this page, maybe you should contact NCIX about the problem and then get specific instructions on what you should do to resolve this issue first.

I think you have 30 days or so to do this before you have to deal with the manufacturer directly.

And to answer your question about whether or not we get paid to post here, no we do not get paid. its just some people like to help out.

Back off, kid. The only people here who get paid anything are the NCIX employees who are clearly identified as staff. Forum members are unpaid and help out when they can voluntarily, so show a little respect. If you want to deal with NCIX staff (and that should be your first option with defective products), then talk to them directly by calling or sending an email using the customer care link.

I beg to differ, I had situations where the front USB ports and sound jack were defective right out of the box. This is rare, but it does happen and I am willing to bet this is one of those "unfortunate" batches.

I suggest you don't bring it back , i bought a zalman z9 plus case 39.99 (how cheap is that!!! ) the front usb panel isn't working good.
I have checked all headers its not that .

i called zalman guess what they send me a new front bay!! im crossing my fingers! id rather do this than to take 15% on ncix because maybe the case do work afterall ..
better to do warranty stuff with the ''REAL'' compagnies'' when it comes to those things

Doa items maybe if your 60 000000% sure it's dead sometimes as ive learned it's the customer's fault , and no joke i had a board i thought was dead.... guess what it was 100% my fault

If you would have bothered to read the OP you'd understand why we said it's PEBKAC issue.

That means it worked earlier. Now there's nothing that would cause it to STOP other than software, electrical short or just breaking the connector itself.

I did not mean to be rude but rather save him from going to the store with it when in fact it's likely just an inexperienced person putting the blame on the wrong part.
