Thinking of getting Black Ops II.
Anyone have any bad/good experiences with this game? Didn't hear anything really bad or good about it. Another stretching of the CoD franchise?

Seems like the only game worthwhile so far is Hitman Absolution at 50% off, everything else seems to have the same discount as during the Summer Sale.

No more so than any other FPS sequel game (like BF3).

I haven't played this one, but here's what I can tell you about changes:

Activision runs dedicated servers instead of P2P (no private servers though... yet) but the matchmaking system is still in place.
Connection issues are more mimimal (think no-host MW2).

Lots of perks are now weapon attachments.
"Pick-10" system (you'll have to look this one up)- secondary weapons are optional, more attachments/perks gives less equipment, can choose 6 perks from the start, etc.

Maps are MW3-esque.
Shotguns still suck, but one fires slugs this time.
Only 3 non-shotgun weapons completely outclassed (down from 8 in BO and 5 in MW3).

That's it.

Hiya, just wanted to point out the current Flash Sale (on for the next 4 hours) includes the ARMA II franchise for 50% off. I've been holding out for last year's price ($9.99) on Operation Arrowhead to try out Day Z, but the last sale only dropped the Combined Ops package that much. Zombies!

The difference between BF2 and BF3 is staggering, the difference between any of the cod games is about 3 textures.
