The basic rules for BF3 competitive mode. Normal mode with the following changes:

(1) No 3D spotting
(2) No Health Auto Regen
(3) No grenade launchers for matches less that 5v5

When we add our steam ID and origin ID, is that just the email address you use to sign in to those services? Are they displayed publicly anywhere?

I got confused with that portion of the signup too...
It should be made more clear...
SteamID: I put the # that is my profile from the url. ex. 53232433243261523
Origin: I just used my username, I think this is correct though.

Prizes will sent to email which players registered at LANFest with. Moreover, this event is only limited to player who signed up for it. Prior to the event, servers will be password protected and the password(s) will be emailed out to people who signed up.

None of this information will be posted anywhere. Neither will we use the emails provided to sign you up for newsletters etc.

Thes information is used to verify attendance, so that we may send the people who attended and NOT just signed up the 2K rewards points.

Also, this information will be used to identify players who won the random code giveaway by our staff. Once a winner is drawn, we look you up in the Steam/Origin/Customer ID/email database, and email you the code.

Hope I can win a copy of BF3 for a buddy of mine.

Any other games besides BF3 going to be played, can't seem to find a list or anything. Guess the video states which games, to bad I don't have age of chivalry. Looked kind of bad, at least compared to mount and blade the combat seems kind of casual.

Omfg!!..!
My gaming comp isn't working at the moment as I'm shipping the watercooling equipment back to a company so there's nothing cooling the CPU and I still have to download BF3 I bought from Origin yesterday which will take hours since I have really damn slow internet (10MB/s). I'm in a really tight situation now, can't play on my Core 2 Duo T6400 2GHz Intel GMA laptop, lag will be horrendous.
I think ill run to NCIX and quickly buy a Hyper 212. :( :(
