As much as I hate MIRs (and I do!), I've never seen NCIX not get a MIR dealt with and approved when the requirements not being met was beyond the control of the customer.

From what I understand, as long as you submit the MIR ASAP when you get said product, and do it according to all the hoop jumping (minus the postmarked date), then you can escalate back to NCIX and they will push through rejected forms.

I also recall on rare occaisions NCIX will pre-emptively get the MIR house to approve late submissions anyways if they know that a very large chunk of products got out late.

hehe if you guys keep shipping like you always do for me its not a worry. Just ordered my step dad a gaming mouse for his xmas present on sunday, arrived this morning. 3 buisness days after ordering to my doorstep in alberta with ground shipping = win imo.

Hey Esther, when will you be posting the boxing day sales? [I am getting a gift card for Christmas, and would like to spend it then.]

Keep in mind that none of these promises of "before the 25th" include processing or shipping times, well at least I was told by a rude agent when I asked why my shipment wouldn't arrive before Christmas even though my order was placed at 3am EST on the 19th (today) with $70 Purolator Express Shipping.

I was told that I "might" receive half of my order by Friday. What good is half a computer? Chris "the head manager at headquarters" told me very condescendingly that he was going to "tell the people in charge to put disclaimers all over the place" on this post.

I have been dealing with NCIX for years. I expect so much better then to be talked down too and to not even have my concerns met.

Contrary to what you may think my tone of voice never changed, it's always the same. Sorry I was born like this. the end of the day hadn't passed yet, I told you your things would ship. they did. I did not see a need to further repeat myself as we're pretty busy over here trying to process and ship everyones orders before Christmas like you needed like you pointed out numerous times to me on the phone. Spending 20 plus minutes on the phone trying to grind my rep for free shipping is counter productive to what we are trying to do.

You were told half of the items were slated to ship from Ontario which is closed now, the other half defaulted to B.C. I pulled some strings and everything is fine now, can't we just move on?

The fact of the matter is stuff happens and we're not all robots, while we do make every attempt to get everything out in a timely manner some things like failed order processing and address verification do require time to handle and the orders might not make it same day. Processing is completely different then shipping as I explained on the phone. So yes, I spoke with Esther and I asked her to put some disclaimers up just in case.

I do not have an employee number, I am sorry if Chris from the head office wasn't a good enough description for you, I did not say head manager however.

Really? So you're one of those people... And yes, Chris was born with a tone of voice that way.

And no, I'm not "one of those people". When I am spending over $500, $70 of which is for express shipping to make it for their advertised deadline for "Before Christmas" and then I am told that there is no tracking information available for the Ontario warehouse and now they are closed but I might receive half of my order on-time that is shipping from BC, I believe that I am entitled to complain. Why advertise a service you cannot handle, and the replies I received were "It's too bad". That's the attitude I received. It wasn't until that point did I ask for something in return. If the customer experience would have been better I wouldn't have said anything about it and moved on.

No one would ever say that here. Fact of the matter is you were beat on one item which wouldn't have shipped to you as people ordered it ahead of you. I already said I pulled some strings and I had it shipped, let's just move on.

Just chiming in with support for an ultra-professional Chris.

Not going to say that we don't all say things in the heat of the moment (I did just the other day) but you have to relax WareHive. He made it work, you have nothing to go on about. Maybe even an apology is in order. Just sayin'

Thanks for the work you do ncix team :)

I was just about to order an item using Purolator Express until I read this.

Why do I have the option of using Purolator Express if express services are not available during this time?

I placed an order on 12/21 to ship to the US. I paid extra for the Fedex Air Saver. The order was not updated since I placed the order.
Can someone tell me when It will ship and when I should receive it ?
Thanks,

It would have been nice if this post noted that these dates do not apply to NCIX built systems.

I just got of the phone with a (polite) NCIX rep stating that for the system comprised solely of in stock items that I ordered and paid for on the 14th of December, I should wait until January 2nd to bother even trying to find out a possible ship date.

NCIX built systems already have disclaimers that state a minimum of 4-5 business days to build, with a current lead time of 5-10 business days.

I have to say that I am a little pissed off. I ordered 1500 dollars worth of parts for a customer build. The payment went through on Thursday (December 27th), and my order has still not shipped. Since the items did not ship last Friday, now I am going to have to wait another few days to receive my order. Now I have an angry customer, as they are wanting their build done. New Years (Tuesday) is just going to slow down receiving the items for even longer now. I am in Victoria, so had they shipped on Friday, I would have received the items today. At this rate it will be another 3-4 days until the items ship, as a result of New Years now. This is the last time I will be shopping at NCIX. I am just tired of the headaches. Their customer service has really gone down hill. I sent a message 2 days ago asking when the items will ship, yet there was no response.

NCIX doesn't build PCs on the weekend (iirc).
If your order was processed on the 27th, then perhaps we can assume it was sent to the build department for the morning of the 28th (Friday) along with the hundreds(?) of other cases they are building during this busy time of the year. That's 2 business days, one of which is New Year's Eve...
As for the problem of your angry "customer" I would suggest that in the future you do a better job of understanding your supplier and managing your clients expectations.
Not to worry, we were amateurs at one point or another.
I did however have to QFT as a rant like this deserves to be kept as an object lesson in how not to be an *******.
Cheers

I did not have NCIX build it for me. I just ordered the parts for the build I am doing for a client. I am a computer tech. All work, including building the PCs, is done by me. The only person not understanding the situation here is you, INurHome.
