The whole Sandisk comparison/argument in this thread is retarded. This card is rated as Class 10. The op posted benchmarks saying that shows it does. Whether or not a Sandisk card is faster is irrelevant. I wouldn't be surprised if a Sandisk card *is* faster. They also cost more. Are they better quality? Perhaps, but no benchmark can answer this.
The fanboy's comments is basically suggesting that anything other than Sandisk is not worth buying, in this product forum and in the A-Data 32GB one. If you want to say that Sandisk is better, I'm not going to argue with you, but that doesn't take anything away from this card performing as rated.
I don't think SanDisk makes its own NAND flash memory, rather it buys them in bulk from such makers as Toshiba, Samsung and IMFT. Then it bins those chips based on how fast it can read/write (sequentially). Part of what makes SanDisk's flash relatively more expensive than the competition is the fact that it's one of the handful that still serves the pro digital SLR market, where reliability can be more important than raw speed.
Their stuff is more expensive. That said, I've been putting my money on them at various times because when SanDisk says their cards can do at least XYZ MB/s, they are really guaranteed to do at least XYZ MB/s. Other companies might advertise theirs to do up to XYZ when they actually do ABC, where XYZ > ABC.
If OCZ advertises their SDHC to go as fast as 30MB/s but really only do half that, who cares? OCZ's a well-known cheater of sorts. SanDisk wouldn't dare pull this stunt on their customers, especially pro photogs.
What justmoe1's saying is you can expect variable quality/performance from anything that's not SanDisk. That doesn't automatically make him a SanDisk fanboy. Look at me. I use a MBPR as my main computer, my phone is a 4S, my music player is a iPod 5th gen, my router is an Airport Extreme... and I hate Apple's legal antics as much as most of the sane people on this forum. Am I an Apple fanboy now?

You're obviously too dense to realize that not everyone reads NCIX forums via the Forum page. And so what if it is 4 months old? This card is on sale at a decent price now, and the info still applies.
Thread necromancy.
If I were you, I'd try to not bump a 3 months+ old thread without relevant/updated content to justify the bump, otherwise I'd look like an A-hole trying to raise his postcount.

How is the Patriot or ADATA card performing above an underachieving specification an automatic stamp of approval? 11 mb/s writes (by the Patriot) isn't exactly something to write home about. Have fun transferring stuff on or off your 32gb card. I, personally, would gladly pay the $74 price for a 32 GB Sandisk "class 10" if I knew it was a significantly faster card. Or maybe it's snake oil and all these cards use the same quality flash and controllers. Such things are certainly never examined by Anandtech or any of those sites, so forums are a great place to look for information. LSI's benchmarks of SSDs, for example, are very informative and contain information not found on other sites because he tests units months/years after release. You wouldn't say discussion of SSDs speeds and how Intel units are known for reliability is irrelevant just because everything on the market today saturates the SATA2 bus.
I also find it interesting how the 2 ADATA 32gb cards' benchmarks in this thread have very different results. 11.3/9.6 and 18.6/14.7. Maybe the "premium" brands like Sandisk have less variability in the results? If I need a minimum of 12 mb/s write (e.g., burst mode on a camera), I want to know I have a good chance of getting that sort of performance on a card. There is no "class 12" rating, and it seems like some cards fail to meet their ratings as well (both of Scott_P's benchmarks indicate his cards don't meet class 10 specs). More data is never a bad thing. If some lines of SDHC cards are 10mb/s writes, that's an important point of data.

Yes, thread is on the older side but if the product is still being sold, input and comparison of performance, quality and specifications should be completely valid until topic is answered, regardless how old YOU think the tread may be. In this case it is an open topic inviting specifications for comparison. Further, I and others may be currently comparison shopping on this product... which makes the topic of performance completely valid regardless of thread age.
Please replace all future uses of the word "mud" with a word of your choice...
Wow, there sure is a lot of "mud" flying around from "muddy" little trolls. One would assume contributing to the forum with facts above opinion would be the rule of the day, otherwise it’s all simply “mud-flinging”. Since we are already so off topic and playing with each other's “mud”… I’ll add my own.
Am I the only one that thinks simply “referring ” to a higher priced product with different/better technology is pointless and uninformative without supplying specs or facts to compare? Example: YES a Nissan GT-R is slightly quicker than my modified Subaru WRX… (BUT HOW MUCH QUICKER, you do not answer). Yes, it’s also much faster... (BUT HOW MUCH FASTER, you do not answer), my WRX can only go 245km/h before it redlines but I really don’t care, I rarely go beyond 220km/h. You do not really answer if the GT-R is worth three times the price for performance I will never use...? So suggesting to me to buy a GT-R because it's faster and only marginally quicker when it's clearly in a different price league is complete “mud”. Just seeing how far off topic we can go… I win.
To bring us back on topic: oSandisk Fanboy (that doesn't even own sandisk)… if you’re chiming-in at least bring info…
My disclaimer: OBVIOUSLY, different test equipment is going to give different results. Just because a product claims a specific speed it has no bearing on whether or not your equipment will EVER actually achieve it. If your equipment can’t even achieve Class 10… the extra money to go beyond is simply “mud”. I also do not own Sandisk cards (yes, more “mud”) but now really curious so I’ll share what I’ve found… I cannot verify if Sandisk statements are true, simply regurging from their website:
Sandisk Ultra 32gb:
Sandisk Product #: SDSDQUA-032G
Transfer speeds below 30MB/s. NCIX price: $36.40
http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=4910538&vpn=SDSDQUA%2D032G%2DU46SA&manufacture=SANDISK
Sandisk Extreme Pro (max 16gb):
Sandisk Product #: SDSDQXP-016G
Up to 95 MB/s read, 90MB/s Write. NCIX does not sell… YPMV
Here's "mud" in your eye...
You're Welcome B)

I've done thread necromancy here alot, mostly because the product pages link to the forum about said product. People get outraged when this happens for some reason, on a normal forum yes, I would agree that is annoying, however when it is linked to on a product's information page from a store site, thread necromancy will happen quite often by comparison. That's what obs was saying, yet you people attack him (however the retaliations for the fanboy comment were well deserved), however on a site like NCIX, I can agree with his implied defense: Store page, linked to forum. The forum trolls need to realize this before attacking people.
that being said, the first three posts in this thread I found to be quite useful.
